Four of us were down for a weeks angling whilst doing a bit of work around the corner. Due to our working commitments we were only able to fish nights this week, didn’t seem to matter though!!! The weather has been changeable at best, pissing down on the 1st night, then a couple of cold clear nights with a hard frost (that slowed ’em up a bit) then the last few nights have been overcast and drizzly. During the warmer days it was 20degrees, lovely spring weather. The fishing was fantastic we were getting bites from the off. Fishing from dinner time to about 07.30, we would bait our swims heavily in the morning before work and upon our return in the afternoon the bites would be coming straight away. A similar heavy baiting with pellets and boilies, or just boilies for some of the lads would keep bites coming thru the night. All in all the fishing was superb for the limited time we had. If we could have fished the days as well we would have slayed em! Food was Excellent Many thanks for your hospitality Gary. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves..The Workers.
