40lb 2oz Caught Today AT LAST!!!!!
I am so glad to say that Steve has caught a 40lb 2oz mirror today which has been a long time coming this year.
Since the start of the season my customers have kept asking me "Where are the 40's"...."why aren't the 40's showing themselves"...well I have been wondering that myself and my only explanation is, is that we had an unusually cold,cold winter - the lake normally freezes once during winter - this year we saw the lake freeze 5 times which obviously hampered the feeding the carp usually receive over the closed season..and this in turn contributed to weight lose.
The biggest carp caught last year was 44lb Mirror and that could have easily lost weight over the hard winter

As my customers know, I am straight talking and do not lie about the fish stocks and quatities I have and I am so, so happy that a 40lber has finally been caught this year...........ALBEIT AT LONG LAST!!!!
