Team Comments: Good week had by all, Fishing a bit slow for some of us, too cold for the carp but the sturgeon love it (-3 at night) Love to come back next year but when its a bit warmer. Gary! thanks for the night out snail tasted good and the carp....TIPS: Need to work hard keep feeding, every morning change rigs & techniques, vary your baits watch the rod tips for the sturgeon not the bite alarm...Overall beautiful lake with good fish in but the weather did not help. High pressure cold snap hit on Monday forcing temperatures down at night to -3/-4. The first and second nights were warm but damp. Only two full nights fishing due to the cold. Fish were there to be caught, but you had to work hard. The carp did not want to play but thankfully the sturgeon liked the cold weather and sweet flavoured baits, good fun. Thanks to Gary, Hopefully we will see you again soon.
