Sean & I came last year & came back this year with the old man. Arrived late Saturday so prepped rods ready for Sunday.
Day 1: Sunday – Overcast & on/off drizzle.
Hit the same spots as last year which were very successful. Really quiet day, fishing single boilie with ball of pellet mix around weight & 3 additional balls.

Day 2: Monday – Overcast with sunny spells.
Changed tactics, went further into bay, quiet start but it worked! glugged boilie’s.

Day 3: Tuesday – Light cloud & warm.
Well…….Really quiet day, only 2 takes all day & fish lost off the hook. Drinking on the deck in the sun, we’ve had worse Tuesday’s.

Day 5: Thursday – Warm & Sunny.
Lots of carp basking, unfortunately not feeding. Went to the pub at lunch.

Day 6: Massive change in temp. up 10° from beginning of week at 24° !

Been a really enjoyable week at the cabin again. Some tough fishing conditions with the changes in temperature. But some great catches pulled out.
