Catch Report and Comments:
Second year at the cabin lake. Gary & Kerry picked us up at the airport with another group from Lodge lakes. Kerry took us shopping then back to the cabin. Didn’t bother fishing first night.
Sat 28th & Sun 29th
Nothing doing. High pressure, rain and frost at night
Monday 30th
Fish showing. caught a nice mirror 22lb near the aerator and we had 2 runs plus a 6lb mirror on the small pond.
Tuesday 31st
Frosty start – high pressure and more heavy rain meant a trip to the pub and nice food. Nothing doing.
Wed 1st
Frosty start but no rain about 10.30am – 26lb mirror by the aerator again. Pink 12mm pop up. Another 2 runs – pressure dropping things are picking up.
Thurs 2nd
Misty start but mild weather. Pressure dropped slightly and the fish were on the move.
18lb Mirror / 23 lb Mirror / 26lb Mirror / 25lb Mirror / 26lb Mirror at the aerator the rest in the middle of the lake
Thursday night – 2am: 32 lb Mirror / 24lb Mirror
